Funfon is a rebellious mobile provider brand targeting Slovakia’s teens. It stands in strict opposition to big, traditional providers using South Park style humor and weirdly sounding language in its memorable advertising.
To re-launch this brand and stay consistent with its positioning we designed a logo based on the “Rock on“ hand sign. We combined it with the shape of a chat bubble – a fitting icon for the most used communication method among teens.
I selected a brush type font to express freshness, vividness and last but not least FUN. For primary colours I picked two shades of green which convey the optimistic and dynamic point of view shared both by the company as well as its target audience.
